MOSCOW, June 9 (Itar-Tass) — Russia will not support the EU and LAS initiatives on blocking the Syrian state channels, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
Speaking at a news briefing on Saturday, Lavrov said, “We want the larger freedom of the speech in Syria. But when the EU and the LAS take authoritative decisions in order to block broadcasting of Syrian state and private channels, most likely this does not work with the concept of the freedom of the speech.”
