MOSCOW, June 9 (Itar-Tass) — Two more suspects have been detained in the case of the May 6 Bolotnaya Square riots during the so-called March of Millions. Spokesman for the Russian Investigative Committee (SK) Vladimir Markin told Itar-Tass that they are Denis Lutskevich, born in 1992, and Yaroslav Belousov, born in 1971.
Thus, seven defendants have already been detained within the criminal case of riots in central Moscow.
On May 6, several participants in the March of Millions marching from Bolshaya Yakimanka to the Bolotnaya Square demanded to open the access to the park and then were seeking to break through the police cordons. Some of them hurled bottles, fliers at policemen and put up resistance in the attempt to detain the most active protesters and were attempting to tear the helmets from the police. Finally on that day over 400 people were detained for illegal actions and about 30 policemen were injured.
