Workshop to discuss ways of forming Russia-Belarus Union

Possible improvements in legislative acts and ancillary documents will be discussed from the angle of view of ensuring the budgetary process

KRASNODAR, June 9 (Itar-Tass) — Ways of improving the legislative acts and ancillary documents and the utilization of budget of the Russia-Belarus Union State will be the central issue at a workshop that will be held in Krasnodar, the capital of Russia’s southern Krasnodar territory, June 14 and June 15.

The workshop will bring together members of the Union State Parliamentary Assembly, representatives of the Union State’s Standing Committee, Belarusian and Russian ministries and departments, and members of research communities.

Possible improvements in legislative acts and ancillary documents will be discussed from the angle of view of ensuring the budgetary process. Specifically, the participants will review a new version of the regulations for forming and utilizing the Union State’s budget, the prospects for development of the budgetary process, and approaches to the drafting of the Union State budget with an accent on integration processes in the framework of a unified economic space.

Simultaneously with the workshop, members of the Parliamentary Assembly will hold a joint session of the commissions for the budget and finances and for the procedures of the Union State.
