MOSCOW, June 8 (Itar-Tass) — Neither Russian President Vladimir Putin, nor Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will be present at Russia’s first match at the Euro 2012 Soccer Cup finals, their press-secretaries, Dmitry Peskov and Natalya Timakova, told Itar-Tass.
Both said the rumors Putin and Medvedev would be in Wroclaw for the Russia-Czech Republic encounter tonight had nothing to do with the reality.
The match is due to begin at 22:45 Moscow time.
