Unidentified flying object seen over Georgia

TBILISI, June 8 (Itar-Tass) —— An unidentified luminescent flying object was seen overnight to Friday in Georgia, including in its capital city Tbilisi.

Numerous videos of the UFO are now available in the Internet arousing heated debates about what it might have been. Some say it might have been a meteorite or a rocket.

Similar UFOs were also seen in neighboring Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as in Israel and some other countries.

Meanwhile, according to astrophysicist Professor Giya Dzhavakhishvili, such phenomena are not very rare but in daytime they are hardly noticeable. “At night they stand bright against the dark sky, no wonder this object has arouse such an excitement,” he said.
