Moscow court upholds verdict for businessman convicted for fraud

MOSCOW, June 7 (Itar-Tass) — The Moscow City Court on Thursday upheld the verdict for Alexei Kozlov, the husband of journalist Olga Romanova. In March, Kozlov was sentenced to five years for fraud involving Iskozh company shares and a money laundering attempt.

The court thereby refused to grant the appeal lodged by Kozlov's lawyer.

The verdict has become effective.
