GORNO-ALTAYSK, June 5 (Itar-Tass) — An ATR-42 plane of Russia’s NordStar air carrier made an emergency landing at the airport of Krasnoyarsk, the press service of the Western Siberian transport investigation department told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
There were 46 passengers and four crew members onboard. Nobody was injured.
The airliner made its flight en route Krasnoyarsk-Turukhansk.
According to the preliminary information, soon after the takeoff at the height of 1,500 meters a signal on one of the engines’ inflammation was received and the air carrier’s commander took a decision to return to the airport.
An investigation is underway.
