MOSCOW, June 4 (Itar-Tass) — Russian billionaire businessman Mikhail Prokhorov, who on Monday announced the setting up of a party, does not rule out his participation in the mayoral election in Moscow in 2015.
“We will hold primaries before the elections, and if I understand in three years that I have chances, I don’t rule out such a possibility for me,” Prokhorov said at a news conference.
The term of office of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin expires in 2015.
Tycoon Prokhorov took part in the presidential election in March 2012.
