ST. PETERSBURG, June 4 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the construction of the offshore section of the second train of the Nord Stream gas pipeline is almost complete.
“Gas supplies are carried out through the first section of Nord Stream within the framework of energy cooperation between Russia and the EU,” the Russian head of state said, opening a working meeting of the Russia-EU summit. “The construction of Nord Stream’s second pipeline is underway. I would like to inform you that the offshore section of the second pipeline of Nord Stream is almost complete,” the RF president said.
