MOSCOW, June 4 (Itar-Tass) — A fire broke out in a warehouse in Moscow's north-west in the small hours on Monday, with gas cylinders bursting there, a source in the city's law enforcement agencies has told Itar-Tass.
A one-storey building of the warehouse is on fire on Narodnogo Opolcheniya Street (the name refers to olden times and means "citizens-in-arms"). Continuous cracks are heard and there were two bursts of gas cylinders," the source said. One fireman has been hurt, the source added.
Efforts are being made to find out what exactly is kept in the warehouse. According to some information, there are pyrotechnical devices inside, whereas other data has it that building materials are kept there.
"The area affected by the fire is 400 square metres," the source pointed out.
