KIEV, June 3 (Itar-Tass) — The Ukrainian Mail or Ukrpochta has put eight new artistically designed post stamps into circulation. All of them are devoted to the Euro-2012 football stadiums and cities that are going to host the football championships: Kiev, Donetsk, Lvov and Kharkov.
The new stamps will decorate the souvenir collections of all football fans and will serve as a good memory of the cities that will host the Euro-2012 football championships: Kiev, the capital of Ukraine; Lvov, Ukraine’s cultural capital; Khrakov, Ukraine’s first capital, and Donetsk, the mining capital of Ukraine.
Each stamp costs 0.6 dollars and has a size of 40 x 28 centimeters. Each circulation has 200,000 copies. The stamps depict outstanding places in Lvov, Kiev, Kharkov and Donetsk.
The Euro-2012 stamps have official UEFA licenses.
