KIEV, June 1 (Itar-Tass) — The Ukrainian Security Service detained four suspects in staging the explosions in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka said at a meeting with President Viktor Yanukovich on Friday.

“Four criminals, who committed this grave crime, were exposed. All of them were detained,” the general prosecutor noted. The evidence was gathered to prove that the blasts in Dnepropetrovsk were committed by these people, he said.

Procedural actions involving the lawyers are being taken, the detainees are being interrogated, Pshonka said. The criminal case is still qualified as terrorism, he added.

On Thursday, Interior Minister Vitaly Zakharchenko stated about the detention of two suspects.

On April 27, several explosions went off at public venues in Dnepropetrovsk. Some 31 people were injured in the blasts. All makeshift explosive devices were planted in the concrete-made recycle bins. One wounded woman remains at the Dnepropetrovsk hospital.
