CHELYABINSK, June 1 (Itar-Tass) — Two Uzbek citizens wanted in Russia for committing a murder have been detained in Russia’s Chelyabinsk region while trying to illegally cross the stet border, a spokesman for the Chelyabinsk region border administration of the Russian Federal Security Service said on Friday.
Border guards stopped a motor vehicle near the settlement of Krutoyersky located in the vicinity of the state border. The vehicle was moving from Chelyabinsk to neighboring Kazakhstan. A document check revealed that two Uzbek nationals and a Russian woman, who were inside the car, were on the wanted list for a murder committed in the Russian city of Perm.
The two Uzbeks killed the owner of a house they were building in Perm and stole his money. Then they fled the scene taking the man’s 14-year-old daughter who had opted to go with them.
The three were handed over to the Perm police.
