BARNAUL, May 30 (Itar-Tass) — Seven people, including two children were killed in a road accident in which two cars collided in the Altai Territory on Wednesday. Another five people were hospitalised with injuries, the Siberian regional emergencies centre told Itar-Tass.
The accident took place on the 140th kilometres of the M-52 federal highway at 01:18, local time. “It was a head-on collision of the Renault Logan and Mercedes cars,” the emergencies centre specified. The injured were rushed to the Talmenka district hospital.
The circumstances of the road accident are being ascertained.
