MOSCOW, May 29 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia supports the territorial integrity of the sovereign state Mali, which is a member of the United Nations Organization, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday in comments on the recent agreement between the Tuareg tribes and the Islamists in Mali to create the so-called state Azawad.
“We take this step as a real threat of the breakup of the sovereign country, which is a UN member. We will seek for the territorial integrity of Mali to be observed,” the minister underlined.
