Sweden wins Eurovision-2012 song contest

’Buranovo Grannies’ are second

BAKU, May 27 (Itar-Tass) — Swedish singer Loreen (‘Euphoria’) has won the Eurovision-2012 song contest who final was held in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku on Saturday night. She scored 372 points. The singer of Moroccan origin won the right for Sweden to host the next Eurovision song contest in 2013.

Russia’s ‘Buranovo Grannies’ from the Udmurt Republic were second with 259 points. They sang their hit “Party for Everybody’. The audience welcomed them with a storm of applause.

Zeljko Joksimovic of Serbia was third.
