UR delegates re-elect Gryzlov as UR Supreme Council head

Boris Gryzlov has been re-elected chairman of the United Russia Supreme Council

MOSCOW, May 26 (Itar-Tass) — Boris Gryzlov has been re-elected chairman of the United Russia Supreme Council.

Delegates of the 13th congress of the United Russia party re-elected Gryzlov on this position on Saturday.

The party’s leader, Dmitry Medvedev, explained that Gryzlov would not take part in the congress for personal reasons.

Gryzlov has been head of the United Russia Supreme Council since November 2002.
