GROZNY, May 26 (Itar-Tass) —— A militant was destroyed in Chechnya’s Grozny region on Saturday.
As ITAR-TASS learnt at the press service of the Interior Ministry for Chechnya, during the holding of a search operation on the territory of a private house-holding in Vodonapornaya Street in the settlement of Kerla-Yurt of the Grozny region, law enforcers killed a militant who offered armed resistance to them at the moment of his detention.
According to the press service, the identity of the killed gunman was established - - it was Adnan Saparbayev, 22, a native of the settlement of Kerla-Yurt.
There are no losses among the law enforcers. A Makarov pistol and two cartridge cases were found at the site of the incident.
