MOSCOW, May 25 (Itar-Tass) —— Six Moscow policemen hurt in riots on Bolotnaya Square will get new apartments, the city police department told Itar-Tass on Friday.
“The Moscow government has decided to give new apartments to four OMON servicemen and two officers of the second operative police regiment,” it said.
The officers were hurt in the March of Millions to Bolotnaya Square on May 6. Some of the protesters tossed flares and bottles at the police and actively resisted the arrest. More than 400 were detained. About 30 policemen were hurt, including some taken to the Interior Ministry hospital.
