MOSCOW, May 24 (Itar-Tass) —— Peru’s Foreign Minister Rafael Roncagliolo will visit Moscow on May 29, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich announced on Thursday.

“The strengthening of bilateral cooperation in accordance with the Agreement on Partnership Relations and the follow-up of the arrangements reached at a high level earlier will be discussed at the talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov,“ the diplomat said.

“Moscow attaches special importance to the Peruvian minister’s visit in view of the fact that it will take place in the run up to the APEC summit in Vladivostok in which both countries will take part,” Lukashevich stressed.

As a result of the talks the ministers will sign the joint statement that, according to the Foreign Ministry spokesman, “will promote further development of bilateral relations.”
