MOSCOW, May 24 (Itar-Tass) — President Vladimir Putin will meet with representatives of public business organizations on Thursday, including the strategic initiatives agency, Business Russia, OPORA Russia, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kremlin press service said.
The parties are expected to consider the topical issues of state-business partnership, such as the participation of business persons in shaping the state policy in the field of developing business and the system of the evaluation of regulatory influence, and the introduction of regional standards of investment climate.
Among the first results of such interaction is the National Business Initiative, prepared by the results of Putin's participation in the congress of Business Russia, and the first "road maps" to improve the business climate, drawn by the strategic initiatives agency within the framework of the Initiative.
Putin and business persons will discuss the support of small and medium businesses, taxes for business, the infrastructure, elimination of excessive administrative barriers, and the formation of a federal contract system.
Putin is meeting with entrepreneurs ahead of Day of Russian Entrepreneurship on May 26. On that day in 1987, Russia's newest history saw the first document greenlighting entrepreneurship.
