MOSCOW, May 23 (Itar-Tass) —— Croatia intends to strengthen friendship with Russia and jointly to implement major economic projects, Ivo Josipovic, the Croatian president, said receiving Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov in Zagreb on Wednesday. The Russian diplomat arrived in Zagreb in connection with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Ivo Josipovic confirmed the wish of the Croatian leadership to deepen friendly, mutually advantageous cooperation with Russia.
The situation in south east Europe was also discussed, the Russian Foreign Ministry noted.
