ANKARA, May 23 (Itar-Tass) — Five Russian citizens were injured in a series of road accidents in Turkey, Russian consul general in Antalya Alexander Tolstopyatenko told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
“On May 22 a road accident took place on the Alanya-Side highway. A driver lost control of a minibus with eleven tour guides inside and his vehicle entered a road ditch,” he said.
As a result, one Russian woman got a head injury and after spending several hours in an intensive care ward was taken to an ordinary ward. Another Russian got slight arm and leg injuries and after getting necessary medical assistance was taken to his hotel, Tolstopyatenko said.
On the same day a separate road incident occurred with a bus owned by Anex Tour company on the highway between Fethiye and Demre. It carried 40 tourists, including six Russians. Of them three people got slight injuries and after receiving necessary medical aid they continue their vacation.
