MOSCOW, May 22 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed a number of Russia’s former ministers to posts in his administration, the Kremlin press service reported on Tuesday.

Thus, former Minister of Health and Social Development Tatiana Golikova, former Minister of Economic Development Elvira Nabiullina, former Minister of Natural Resources Yuri Trutnev, former deputy head of the government’s administration Yuri Ushakov, former Minister of Education and Science Andrei Fursenko and former Minister of Communications Igor Shchegolev were appointed aides to the president.

Former Minister of Transport Igor Levitin was appointed an advisor of the Russian president.

Rashid Nurgaliyev, the former Minister of the Interior, was appointed deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council.

Konstantin Chuichenko was appointed aide to the president and head of the audit department; Vladimir Ostrovenko was appointed head of the presidential protocol; Dmitry Kalimulin was appointed head of executive office.
