MOSCOW, May 22 (Itar-Tass) — The examination of the cockpit voice recorder of the crashed Russian airliner Sukhoi Superjet 100 was completed in Indonesia. The protocol on the results of the joint investigation into the airliner crash was signed between the Indonesian National Committee for Transport Security and Russian officials in Jakarta, a source in the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade said on Tuesday.
The protocol noted that the detectives found after the examination of the cockpit voice recorder that no avionic systems failed and the land crash warning system T2CAS was operational during the flight and provided the crew with the information about a dangerous approach to the ground.
The data flight recorder was not found, Indonesia will continue the search for it.
