CHERKESSK, May 21 (Itar-Tass) —— Karachayevo-Cherkessia’s Head Rashid Temresov said Alexander Khloponin’s work in the region as deputy prime minister and presidential representative in the North Caucasian Federal District is “systemic and effective” and “geared to a concrete result”.
Commenting on Khloponin’s reappointment, Temrezov stressed that “the results of the deputy prime minister and presidential representative showed the effectiveness of his style and economic methods in the North Caucasus”.
“High working efficiency, commitment and desire to get deeply involved in the resolution of problems in each region of the North Caucasian Federal District are the qualities that Alexander Gennadyevich [Khloponin] has,” Temrezov said.
He stressed that Khloponin is “is very demanding to himself and other people, he is commitment to a concrete result and it is very comfortable to work with him in one team”.
According to Temrezov, Khloponin is the author of many special decisions on the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus, its security, law and order.
“I am glad that the ideas and proposals stated in the Comprehensive Development Strategy for the North Caucasian Federal District will continue, and some other initiatives authored by Alexander Khloponin will continue. The Caucasus needs stability and continuity, new levers for solving economic problems,” he said.
Khloponin was appointed deputy prime minister and presidential representative in the North Caucasian Federal District on January 19, 2010 and reappointed to this post on Monday, May 21, 2012.
Khloponin is a senior member of the ruling United Russia party.
