MOSCOW, May 18 (Itar-Tass) —— President Vladimir Putin has ordered the future government and the Kremlin administration to consider privatization of Rostekhnologii assets within a month.
“When Rostekhnologii was established, we agreed that it would not be immune from change. We need to organize the plants [attached to Rostekhnologii] and to transform them into joint stock companies. Some of them will be public companies, while others will be privatized,” he said.
“Hence, I will request the Rostekhnologii administration to present a work plane. A lot has been done to accumulate assets, but I do not have proposals on further development of the corporation. The Russian government, which will be formed fully next week, and the presidential administration should assist the efforts,” Putin said.
