MOSCOW, May 18 (Itar-Tass) — Passengers of Sapsan high-speed trains making shuttle trips between Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod will be offered discount cards starting from July 1, 2012, Russian Railroads told Itar-Tass on Friday.
“The ticket price will depend on the time of booking, the train occupancy and the train car class,” the company said. “There will be 20% discounts for citizens older than 60 and schoolchildren aged from ten to 16. Young people aged 16 to 25 will enjoy a 15% discount.”
