Opposition camp from Chistoprudny Boulevard gone

Several people were detained. The opposition members are standing near the metro station

MOSCOW, May 16 (Itar-Tass) —— The opposition camp on Moscow’s Chistoprudny Boulevard is practically gone. Only OMON is guarding the area.

OMON arrived at about 5:00 a.m. They blocked the boulevard and told the protesters to leave. Several people were detained. The opposition members are standing near the metro station.

The Moscow Basmanny Court ordered to remove the camp on Tuesday by a lawsuit of local residents. The opposition planned earlier to leave the camp before 11:30 a.m. and to start moving along the boulevards in the case of the appearance of the police. The police demanded earlier that the camp must be gone by Wednesday noon.
