IRKUTSK, May 15 (Itar-Tass) — A forest fire continuing in the area of the city of Bratsk advanced close to the settlement of Burninskiye Vikhorya. The fire spread to two houses and nearby sheds.
The flames have been confined by 10. 00 am Moscow time. Two houses where six people lived have burnt down. There were no casualties, the press service of the Irkutsk Head department for emergency situations told Itar-Tass.
Around fifty rescuers and ten fire fighting tools were involved in fire extinguishing, it said.
