VLADIVOSTOK, May 15 (Itar-Tass) – An earthquake measuring 4.7 points on the open-ended Richter scale occurred in the southern Siberian region of Tyva on the night from Monday to Tuesday, the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences said.
The seismic focus of the quake was located some ten kilometers beyond the surface of the earth and its epicenter was located about a hundred kilometers to the east of the regional capital Kyzyl.
At the time of reporting, there was no information on the possible aftermaths of the quake.
