MOSCOW, May 14 (Itar-Tass) — Sergei Udaltsov, the Left Front coordinator, who is serving a 15-day prison sentence for disobeying police orders during an action on May 9, was taken to hospital after feeling worse on Monday.

“Udaltsov was hospitalized to a therapeutic department of Moscow hospital No. 68,” Udaltsov’s lawyer Nikolai Polozov told Itar-Tass.

An ambulance took Udlatsov to hospital after he felt worse to examine him and prescribe treatment. Polozov said that Udaltsov who’s on a ‘dry’ hunger strike had developed atrophy and dehydration. He’s also suffering from gastric ulcer.

Sergei Udaltsov was detained on Patriarshiye Ponds in the heart of Moscow on May 9 where the opposition was trying to hold an infinite open-air action.
