MOSCOW, May 14 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s government has approved holding of the World Media Summit 2012 in Moscow.
A resolution to this effect was signed by the then prime minister, Vladimir Putin, on May 5.
The Foreign Ministry, the Interior Ministry and the Federal Customs Service will make necessary contribution to organizers of the Media Summit to prepare and hold it. The Moscow government has been also instructed to contribute to the organizers of the summit, including accommodation and transport service for the summiteers.
The 2nd World Media Summit will take place in Moscow on June 4-7 under the Itar-Tass auspices.
