Yevgeny Kuivashev was appointed as the region’s acting governor

MOSCOW, May 14 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted the resignation of governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Misharin of his own accord, the Kremlin press service reports.

Yevgeny Kuivashev was appointed as the region’s acting governor. According to another decree of the president, he was relieved of the post of plenipotentiary in the Urals Federal District.
