Fire breaks out at oil refinery in Leningrad region

ST. PETERSBURG, May 13 (Itar-Tass) —— A fire broke out at an oil refinery in the Leningrad region.

The report on a fire at the Kirishi oil refinery came at 8:18 p.m. Moscow time on Sunday, the Leningrad regional emergency situations department told Itar-Tass. “An operating gasoline installation is burning at the height of 15-20 meters. Petroleum products are ablaze,” it said.

Fourteen fire trucks and 42 firemen are putting out the blaze. There is no information about possible casualties.
