Russian railroads to have unified prices on drinks, confectionaries sold on long-distance trains

A number of food suppliers have been chosen at tenders

MOSCOW, May 13 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian railroads will have unified prices on drinks and confectionaries sold on long-distance trains, a representative of the Federal Passenger Company (a subsidiary of Russian Railroads) told Itar-Tass.

“The food sold on all trains, from the Far East to Kaliningrad, is the same. The prices will be uniform too,” he said. “A number of food suppliers have been chosen at tenders.”

Besides, all the food items sold on trains will carry special marking. “Stamps with holograms will be attached to each tea bag and cake. The stamps have been designed,” he said.
