Three people die, 12 injured in N Ossetia minibus accident

A Gazel minibus and a Lada car collided at the 577th km of the Caucasus highway

MOSCOW, May 11 (Itar-Tass) —— Three people died and 12 were injured in a minibus accident in North Ossetia, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry's department in the republic reported to Itar-Tass.

A passenger Gazel minibus and a Lada car collided at the 577th km of the Caucasus highway near the turn to the village of Olginskoye at about 22:00 Moscow time, a source at the press service said.

Three people died at the site, and 12 with various injuries were taken to hospitals of Nazran and Vladikavkaz.

Rescuers were working to recover the dead bodies blocked in the vehicle, the source said.
