SOCHI, May 11 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Vladimir Putin pledged to deal with each case of overstated price on Olympic sites in Sochi.
“I am aware of the desire of some performers, both ordering parties and subcontractors – to increase the cost of Olympic sites today at the final stage of construction,” the president said at a meeting for the preparations to the Sochi Olympics. “This is inadmissible! It is necessary to deal compulsorily with each concrete case,” he noted.
“If the investor or the subcontractor has formed the price of the facility independently, the risk of a higher price and additional expenses is shouldered on the relevant private organization,” Putin said.
“We will not step aside from the generally recognized norms and rules of civil legal relations,” Putin underlined.
