MOSCOW, May 10 (Itar-Tass) — Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said he was busy drawing proposals on the structure and composition of the new government. "We don't have a Cabinet; it's in the process of being formed, because under the law, it is the period of presenting the structure /of the Cabinet/ to the president. This is what I'm doing; I'm also finalizing the proposals on the candidates for Cabinet posts," Medvedev said at the beginning of the meeting with "the open government.

After presenting the new government proposals, Medvedev will travel to the USA for the G-8 summit. "The president will review the candidacies," he added.

"The open government is continuing to work in the meantime," the prime minister said.

Medvedev's meeting with "the open government' is taking place in a building in Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment. Upon walking into the hall, Medvedev who earlier worked in the government, said "the building has been renovated" and that "the conditions for work aren't bad."

He also said he had agreed to transform the working group for forming "the open government" into a government commission.

The proposals came from acting presidential advisor Arkady Dvorkovich.

"A government commission is suggested as a body to coordinate /this work/; it is in this body that the working group must transform," Dvorkovich said.

He underlined that "such a commission may be set up only after the forming of the government."

Medvedev answered that his believed the proposal was valid. "We'll be able to accomplish something on the basis of our proposals, if the open government has the necessary administrative levers in its hands," he said.
