MOSCOW, May 8 (Itar-Tass) — Premiership candidate Dmitry Medvedev has begun consultations with the faction of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the State Duma lower house of parliament here on Tuesday.
Simiilar consultations with the United Russia party and the Liberal Democratic Party of the Russian Federation were held on Monday.
At the close of the meeting with the Communists, Medvedev is expected to hold consultations with "A Just Russia" party.
An extraordinary plenary session of the House to consider Medvedev's candidacy for premiership is scheduled for 15:00.
