MOSCOW, May 7 (Itar-Tass) — President Vladimir Putin has bestowed the honorary titles of City of Military Glory to Mozhaisk, Moscow region, and Maloyaroslavets, Kaluga region.
The decrees to this effect was signed by the Russian president on Monday and placed on the official legal information Internet portal. The decrees say the cities have been given the titles “for courage, tenacity and heroism by these cities’ defenders in their struggle for the freedom and independence of Motherland”.
