Medvedev instructs to propose amendments to laws on rallies and marches

MOSCOW, May 7 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s outgoing President Dmitry Medvedev has endorsed a list of instructions that were elaborated after his meeting with the presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights of April 28, the Kremlin press service reported on Monday.

Thus, Medvedev instructed to make proposals, by July, on amendments to the Russian laws on the procedure of rallies, marches, demonstrations and pickets, and to laws on administrative liability to secure better protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of Russian citizens.
