MOSCOW, May 6 (Itar-Tass) —— Activists started a sit-in strike near Bolotnaya Square in Moscow center where an opposition rally had begun. They demand full access of the protesters to the square.
Plenty of people are standing in front of the stage on Bolotnaya and more are coming in. Yet some opposition members, mostly Left Front activists, refused to go to Bolotnaya through a narrow corridor.
Opposition leaders Alexei Navalny, Sergei Udaltsov and Ilya Yashin sat on the ground near the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge and urged their supporters to do the same. Dozens of protesters followed the example. “We will sit here until a full access to the square is given,” Navalny microblogged.
