MOSCOW, May 6 (Itar-Tass) —— The Kommersant newspaper website is working again. The website’s main page reported that the online edition had experienced a major DDoS attack.
“A DDoS attack comparable only with the event of March 2008 started early in the morning. Back in March 2008 the DDoS attack put the newspaper website out of operation for several days,” the report said.
According to it, the Sunday attacks came mostly from Asian IP addresses.
