Medvedev appoints Gen Bondarev as Air Force Commander-in-Chief

The decree said Bondarev was relieved of his duties as first deputy commander-in-chief of the Russian Air Force

MOSCOW, May 6 (Itar-Tass) — In his decree on Sunday, President Dmitry Medvedev appointed General Viktor Bondarev as Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force, the Kremlin press service reports.

The decree said Bondarev was relieved of his duties as first deputy commander-in-chief of the Russian Air Force.
