VLADIVOSTOK, May 5 (Itar-Tass) — Three people were killed in a road accident in Russia’s Primorye territory, a senior aide for the region’s investigative department chief, Avrora Rimskaya, told Itar-Tass on Saturday.
The accident happened near the village of Nikitovka on Friday, when a 19 year old driver of a Toyota car entered an oncoming traffic lane to collide with an UAZ car. There were five policemen and a suspect in robberies.
Both cars caught fire. Policemen and the arrested man managed to get out of their car, while those three people in Toyota died. Their bodies are being identified.
An investigation is underway.
