MOSCOW, May 4 (Itar-Tass) — According to early reports, five or six people were killed as a result of two blasts near a road police post at the entrance to Makhachkala (Dagestan) late on Thursday. More than 20 were wounded, a senior aide to the head of the investigation department of the Investigative Committee (SK) for Dagestan said on Friday.

“Besides, over 20 parked cars were damaged in the blasts and the ensuing fire,” Rasul Temirbekov said. He said that according to early reports “at first a car exploded and then, sometime later - a Gazelle van”. An investigation brigade works at the site.
