MOSCOW, May 2 (Itar-Tass) — The head of the Bureau of Special Technical Measures /BSTM/ under the Interior Ministry, who declared an income of 28.3-million roubles in 2011, came in possession of this money after he sold an apartment he owned, BSTM press service secretary Larisa Zhukova told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Interior Ministry published incomes of its personnel on its website. It follows from one of the declarations that Viktor Grigorov, head of a BSTM office, received a 28.3-million-roubel income in 2011, which was broadly covered on the Internet and by mass media outlets.

"Grigorov, head of a BSTM office, sold the apartment in 2011 which had been in his ownership, and then declared the income. He has all the documents on hand to confirm the transaction," Zhukova said.

She also said Grigorov is not head of the BSTM's "K" department, as some mass media outlets reported.
