MINSK, April 30 (Itar-Tass) — Belarus is reducing export duties on oil and oil products, following Russia, according to a resolution approved by the Council of Ministers on Monday.

So, from May 1 export duty on oil will be reduced till 448.6 U.S. dollars per 1,000 tonnes. In May The flat rate on light and dark oil products will reach 296 U.S. dollars per 1,000 tonnes against 304 U.S. dollars in April. Such rate will be effective for benzene, toluene and xylene. Export duty on propane, butane, ethylene, propylene, butylenes and butadiene, and other liquefied gases amounts to 196.6 U.S. dollars against 158.6 U.S. dollars.

Under the government resolution of December 9, 2010, Belarus is transferring export duties on Russian oil products to the Russian budget. In compliance with the document, from January 1, 2011 Russia supplies duty-free oil to Belarus.

Since 2010 Belarus has unified all export duties on oil and oil products, following Russia.
