TOKYO, April 30 (Itar-Tass) — North Korea may carry out its third nuclear test even this week, the Kyodo news agency reported this Monday.
According to the news agency, the US authorities conveyed appropriate information to the South Korean government. Analysts note that Pyongyang may have between 12 and several dozens of nuclear charges. One of them may be blasted even this week.
The South Korean Defence Ministry also stated last week that everything is ready in North Korea for making a new nuclear test. “We have found out that it is necessary to take a political decision for this action,” a military department spokesman told reporters in Seoul.
A new nuclear explosion can be carried out in the north-east of the republic, where Pyongyang made two previous underground tests in 2006 and 2009.
